Does the brain ever “crash” and has the equivalent of an eternal “blue screen of death”?

I am not sure. I imagine that the brain, effectively being a biological computer, MUST encounter errors similar to that of a computer, and as glitch can occasionally ruin the entire computer and put it into a permanent “severe system crash,” why couldn’t the brain have the same thing? Seziures aren’t really what I mean, as those are just temporary.

If the answer to my question is yes, then what is this situation called?

Biological Computers
